About the Cruel Summer 22"

The summer only lasts so long and if you don’t take advantage of it, you’ll regret not getting out there and enjoying the sunshine. The Cruel Summer 22” is for those that spend every living moment outside with a board under their feet. Available in both the 22” and 27” sizes, you can choose from two different boards that offer two unique riding experiences.

The Set up
The Cruel Summer is a variation of the 22” Mint complete, but with brighter colors. As all Penny decks are, they are specially designed to ride with the perfect mix of flex and strength. This gives you a unique ride that other skateboards just can’t replicate.

Wheels and Bearings
The Penny 59mm 83A wheels will give you the ultimate confidence while riding. Designed from a high quality, chip-resistant formula, these wheels will let you skate all day and night, week in and week out. In order to keep the speed, the Cruel Summer has Abec 7 bearings for a fast and smooth ride.

Trucks and Cushions
The 3” powder coated trucks are the perfect size for the small 22” board so you can have a tight turning radius and have plenty of stability. Inspired by the summertime, we brought out the orange base plates and blue hangers to liven up this board. The 83A white cushions let the trucks turn sharply, but if you want a stiffer ride all you have to do is tighten the kingpin.

Bolts
The 22” Cruel Summer Penny comes with blue high tensile deck bolts to match the base plates and bearings.
