The Highball is a race ready hardtail available in 29” and
27.5” wheel sizes to accommodate the broadest range
of rider styles.
We kept the geometry similar between the two versions,
to enable the different wheel size traits to shine through.
This delivers some fantastically compact chainstays for
the 29er, in order to keep it inline with its 27.5” brother.
Both models enjoy a relatively long reach which
encourages them to be ridden with shorter stem/bar
combos that liven up the feel and turn response. The
70.5-degree angle supports that approach, striking the
right balance of quick handling and stability with a front
end that doesn’t wander all over the climbs.
In size small, we offer the 27.5” carbon and the 29”
aluminum models specifically. And for single-speeders,
we offer the aluminum versions with replaceable
dropouts.
With a lightweight, compliant 27.2 mm seat post
as a finishing touch, the Highball reveals itself as
unapologetically fast and surprisingly fun. Every bit what
an endurance hardtail from Santa Cruz should be.
